The StateMonitor software gives you an overview of the status of your machines and jobs at all times. We demonstrated this, for example, in the IndustryArena area at the METAV in Düsseldorf (see photo). To make sure that you can also keep the overview when installing StateMonitor, we are offering a commissioning service. This service is worthwhile, especially the more complicated your network is and the more customized your configuration is intended to be.
Of course, you can also install the StateMonitor software on your own. But StateMonitor features so many options that support for installation and setup can indeed make a lot of sense. That’s why the commissioning service offers individually customized assistance that is entirely tailored to you, your machines, your network setup, and the requirements you will be placing on StateMonitor. By the way, it doesn’t matter whether you ordered StateMonitor through an OEM when purchasing your machines or from a HEIDENHAIN distributor for your already existing machines. We even provide support for commissioning of the 90-day trial version.
The two-hour-long support session usually entails the connection of two or three machines, initial instruction in the use of the desired functions, and the configuration of StateMonitor to enable the use of these functions. Beforehand, we will ask you about your specific wishes by e-mail or during a brief call and will also inform you about how you can prepare for the commissioning service.
For the actual commissioning service, a contact person who is familiar with the company’s IT landscape as well as someone we can instruct in the setup and use of the software will need to set aside two hours of their time. Together, we will then conduct the commissioning service, including a basic software training course, over a WebEx session. At the end of the two-hour session, you will have a a fully functional connection with your customer-specific settings. In addition, the participants are trained to the point that they can undertake further modifications and additional machine connections entirely on their own.
